CAROB CHIPS INGREDIENTS:

NO CAFFEINE: Carob is the base of our Missy J’s truffley treats. Carob, a legume, is naturally free from harmful stimulants such as caffeine or theobromine.
NO DAIRY/VEGAN: Although we do not directly use dairy or animal products in our Vegan Heavenly Bites, our carob chip manufacturer produces them on the same machines as their milk-based products. Therefore, incidental traces of milk may be present. NOTE: Gluten free Missy J’s truffley treats DO CONTAIN DAIRY.
NO WHEAT: We do not directly use wheat in the recipe for our Vegan Missy J’s truffley treats but the manufacturer of the barley used in our carob chips states that there may be traces of wheat. Therefore, incidental traces of wheat may be present.
GLUTEN FREE: We do not use gluten in our Gluten Free Missy J’s truffley treats; however, they are manufactured on equipment that can also handle wheat or gluten. Incidental traces of these allergens may be present. Individuals with celiac or gluten sensitivities must use precaution and their own discretion.
SOY: Soy Lecithin is used; it is manufactured on equipment that also handles peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, dairy and soy. Incidental traces of soy may be present.
CORN: Vegan Missy J’s truffley treats uses a proprietary grain sweetener containing a non-GMO malted corn.
NO CANE OR REFINED SUGARS: The kiss of sweetness in Vegan Missy J’s truffley treats comes from carob, a naturally sweet legume, as well as a proprietary grain sweetener, a non-GMO malted corn and barley malt blend from the carob chips used. Gluten Free Missy J’s truffley treats: Sweetness comes from carob, a naturally sweet legume, as well as hint of non-fat milk powder.
NUTS: Nuts and tree nuts are used in Vegan and Gluten Free Missy J’s truffley treats. They are manufactured on equipment that also handles peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, dairy and soy. Incidental traces of nuts may be present. Recently, the FDA categorized coconut as a treenut.
